Viscotek I-Columns for specialized GPC/SEC applications
The Viscotek I-Series speciality columns are designed for the separation of difficult to elute polar organic polymers. The packing is a fluorinated, highly crossed-linked di-vinyl-benzene (DVB) gel that resists degradation during quick solvent changes, ideal for scouting different solvents. Quick solvent change in one hour (e.g. from THF to DMF). This inert column is compatible from toluene to formic acid and can support up to 20% water.

Application Note: SELS – Solvent Enhanced Light Scattering Viscotek has been a strong advocate of good chromatography as a prerequisite for GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) data accuracy. Our recent work in application development has been driven by extremely difficult samples from industrial, biopharmaceutical and academic sources.
Application Note: Solvent Enhanced Light Scattering (SELS) of Fluoro-Polyester Traditionally in GPC, the sample dissolution solvent and the mobile phase are one and the same. However, a closer look at the demands of sample solvent and mobile phase suggests that this should not always be the case.
