Project Management
In order to configure and deliver an exact solution, we need to understand fully your objectives, requirements, and time scales. Coordinated by a designated Project Manager, this process involves a multi-disciplinary team at Malvern, working in close cooperation with you from the initial site survey to the final commissioning.
Typically, projects will follow the following steps:
Definition of Scope - A Project Engineer will work with you to determine the objectives of the project, and suggest the analyzer, sampling, automation, and communications package most suitable to the application. Customer samples are analyzed at this stage so that material properties can be documented, and a site survey will be conducted if necessary.
Engineering Review - Once the project scope and objectives have been defined, detailed information on the equipment package, utilities requirements, and installation procedures are review and project timelines are set.
Installation/Commissioning - Installation and commissioning of Malvern equipment can range from 2 to 5 days, depending on the sampling systems supplied, and the level of complexity involved. Once installed, a comprehensive system commissioning and user training procedure follows, with the option of a formal Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) to be carried out.
Post-installation Support - On-site and telephone and increasingly Internet-based support is supplied in the weeks following an installation to assist with data interpretation, provide follow-on training to users, ensure that the equipment meets Malvern's performance standards.
Long-term Service and Support - Malvern offers a range of service and training programs to ensure long-term system reliability and customer satisfaction. See the Support section for additional detail.
