Sampler description
This sampler enables the extraction of a sample while maintaining the discharge screw rotation speed.
The PREC 100 sampler has minimal dimensions, presenting a relatively small "footprint" within the process line. It is manufactured parallel to fit exactly each installation. The rugged body has been tested in industries for many years.
Process line conditions
Gravity chute for cement, typically at exit from separator
Flowrate: 50 to 150 tons per hour
Line diameter: 300 - 800 mm (ø12 - 32" BSP). The section can be circular or rectangular.
Sampling
The auger is installed in the centerline of pipe majority of particle sizes are present in the centerline. The variable pitch accelerates the cement caught between slot ends, thus enabling the auger to catch material over the entire slot length.
The variable auger speed is used to adjust the sample rate to achieve 45 - 65% transmission (reported by size analyzer). Transmission level can then be held constant by varying the speed of auger.
