Malvern expands contract particle characterization services in North America

Malvern Instruments has entered into an agreement with Particle Technology Laboratories Ltd (PTL) (Chicago, IL) that will enable Malvern to extend its contract testing services for customers in North America.

Malvern’s contract services for particle characterization are well-established and will continue to be initiated and managed by the company’s experienced team. However, the testing itself will now be carried out by PTL at their facility in Chicago. Particle Technology Labs, Ltd. is a leading independent laboratory specializing in fine particle size and characterization services. It has FDA registration, a DEA license and ATF permits, and follows cGMP guidelines.

Jane Bishop, commercial director at Malvern, said: “We are delighted to welcome Particle Technology Labs as a partner for our contract services in North America. Their vast expertise and experience in fine particle characterization will support us in extending the contract services that Malvern provides in this area. PTL’s FDA registration brings additional benefits and security for our pharmaceutical clients.”
